How-To Install a Base Corner Cabinet

Base corner cabinets are a great way to maximise storage and function in a kitchen corner. They’re usually the first cabinet to be installed when you start your project.

How-To Install a Base Corner Cabinet

To start, remove the door and shelf from the cabinet

Lay the cabinet on its back to fix the adjustable feet

The cabinet will come with the base plate of the adjustable feet installed

Attach the adjustable part by slotting it into the base

Wind the feet to adjust them to the height of your kicker

Place the cabinet in position

Adjust the height of the feet

Use a spirit level to check the level

Check the cabinet is level at the back on both sides, left and right, and diagonally across the front

Once your corner cabinet is in place and level, add your next cabinet

Key Tips

  • Take the time to get your corner cabinet perfectly level. As it’s often the first cabinet, this means all other cabinets will be easier to level and install
