Panels & Infills

Panels are used to cap the ends of cabinet runs, and used next to appliances such as ovens, rangehoods, and dishwashers to protect cabinet doors from heat and moisture damage.
The panels highlighted in red demonstrate how panels are used in a typical kitchen.
If you choose a Thermo door for your cabinet, you have a few things to consider when ordering your panels.
There are 2 Styles of panel which can be ordered to match Thermo Doors.
1. Panels the same as your door style.
Typically you would use these only to cap the end of a cabinet run.
Please note these panels are white on the back
2. Matching panels from the Duro range.
These panels are coloured on both sides and can be used for any panel application.
Infill’s are used to fill in the space between a cabinet and the wall.
The average space between the cabinet and your wall should be 30-70mm.
Two styles of infill are available.
1. Setback Infill’s – level with the front of the cabinet without the door on.
2. Flush Infill’s – level with the front of the cabinet with the door on.
Kickers are used to fill in the space at the bottom of base cabinets. Basically the kicker is a long narrow panel. A common kicker height is 150mm.
The Kicker highlighted in red demonstrates how kickers are used in a typical kitchen.
