Our upper cabinets are designed to fit most Fisher & Paykel and Haier rangehoods, which are available through U-Install-It Kitchens. That’s one less thing to think about!

How-To Cut Out For an Undermount Rangehood

1

To start, turn your upper rangehood cabinet upside down

You can tell the top side of the cabinet by the presence of the brown protective glides
2

Refer to your appliance installation instructions for the cutout size required

3

Measure and mark out the cutout required on the underside of the cabinet

For placement, consider any clearance required for splashbacks, lighting, and stability of the front underside bar
4

Using a 10mm drill bit, drill through all four corners of the cutout markings

5

Using a jigsaw, cut along the lines marked

Tip: cut the front and back first, then along the sides. This helps with stability.
